Seeking God’s Wisdom

To the children of God chosen to accomplish great works for God – yet they too often choose to sit back and remain satisfied where they are more comfortable.

For the Christian, the learning never stops; we must earnestly desire to obtain wisdom from God and learn to work diligently for Him while time draws near. James the Apostle says, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given to him.” (James 1:5)

Do not be deceived, God will not impart to men knowledge of Him while they are content to live in darkness. In order to receive God’s help, man must realize his weakness’s and deficiencies. Wrong habits and motives must be shaken off, as one must determine in his heart to conform to Godly principles to claim the which is rightfully ours in Christ Jesus.

Sadly many never reach their God given goals and destinies because they sit back and wait for God to do for them that which He has already given them the power to do for themselves.

I pray and feel God desiring to do something big in Florence and Hemingway counties. May we as God’s people humble ourselves enough to pray for a great revival and move of God in our area.

Pray now, mark your calenders beginning Sunday May 18th-Saturday 24th, each night starting at 6pm. Come expecting God to do great things through the annointed preaching of God’s Word. May many souls be revived, lifted, and gloriously saved for the kingdom of God. “As Iron sharpeth iron, so one man sharpeth another”.
